Furthermore, the implementation of solar panels in each villa, has the aim to provide hot water throughout the Resort including staff accommodations, and to contribute in the correct functioning of the natural resources.
Emerald Maldives has access to a resident Marine biologist that also has the role of educating guests, monitoring the house reef and internal research and enhancing each and every guest stay and experience by contributing on their knowledge. This by hosting 3 weekly sessions on Marine life protection and talking about topics including an introduction of Marine wildlife & their habitats, Structure & Ecology of the Maldives with a brief discussion on the geological history of the atolls & islands.
